BASIC TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Steel structures, produced by SIGNUM spol. s r.o. are put into practise in all kinds of investment activities. Their application is significant, when time, economic, working and also environmental points of view are taken into account.
Application - steel structures of metallurgical and industrial production halls and mills for chemical, machining, textile, glass and other industry, steel strcutures of power plants, boiler rooms and incinerating plants, agriculture, sport, cultural and social buildings, steel structures of exhibition pavilions, shopping centres, automobile centres, service stations, workshops, steel structures of stands and warehouses, hangars, high capacity or automatic garage structures, gas stations and roof superstructures on panel buildings.
Also supplementary steel structures - crane runways, platforms, catwalks, ramps, staircases, pipe lines and utility support stands and other special structures.
We also arrange erection and delivery of all basic accessories for buildings as cladding, gates, doors, windows, skylights, skylight zones and others according to the customer´s demand.
Loading - structures are designed to resist the climatic load to comply with the ČSN 730035 or DIN 1050 standard (i.e. snow and wind load - depending on a building location), permanent load and living load in accordance with the customer´s requirements.
Preparation of shop drawings on the basis of completed designs is carried over on the advanced CAD stations. There are ACAD 14, ACAD 2000 programs and 3D constructional X steel program available, which together with experienced staff guarantees high quality of the constructional documents fully corresponding to the customer´s requirement.
It is possible to hand over the documents in paper form, on CD or electronically.
Material - structures are designed of materials that correspond to the S 235 and S355 quality classes acc. to the relevant EN standards. All materials are certified acc. to the customer´s requirement.
Connections of constructional parts are welded or bolted. Connection materials (bolting) is supplied acc. to the customer´s requirement, i.e. without surface protection, electrogalvanized or hot dip galvanized in accordance with the ČSN and DIN standards.
Excellent quality of welded profiles is given by PULLAMX and ESAB automatic welding machines. Other welding operations are performed by sumberged-arc method or in a protective atmosphere. The company is also qualified to perform welding of shear studs.
Surface treatment
Is done with respect to the environment and according to customer´s demands.
The first step is shot blasting by steel balls or steel grit to the degree of purity Sa 2,5 acc. to the ČSN ISO 85-01 or DIN 9228.
The next step is painting by a primer paint in min. thickness 30-40 microns. This is followed by application of intermediate coats and upper coats according to the customer´s requirement or a surface system proposal. Individual coats are applied in the min. thickness 40 microns in color shades of RAL scale.
